Season so far - the first item on the Agenda concerned Airbus who had now started their fixtures after the committee allowing them a late start to form a team.
Dave Clough (Llanferres) had written to the committee regarding their fixture with Airbus which should have taken place 8 th November which Airbus had not fulfilled (see letters from Llanferres and Airbus explaining each clubs point of view). The committee decided to ask Llanferres to try to arrange the fixture even if left to later in the season and request that Airbus pay 50% of the cost. League Secretary to write to Llanferres informing them of this.
Northop were having to arrange their fixture with Airbus due to loss of Northop's hall.
It was proposed that next season struggling clubs were only given to the end of October to form a team.
Presentation Evening is to be held on 26 th April 2008 at Corus. Beth & Jane to arrange and Gary Owen (Queensferry Sports) to be asked to present the trophies.
AOB – Dave Stretch had received no home match sheets from Connahs Quay C.
Cliff Price asked the question what teams were to be relegated/promoted at the end of season, the top 2 teams to go up but very often the bottom team coming down was stronger that the 3 rd placed team going up. Alan Bennett suggested maybe ask the bottom team do they wish to be relegated.
John Uren brought up the subject of player insurance, after one of their players had broken a leg, Alan to ask Mike Coppack (Association Secretary) regarding this.
Brian Roberts asked about the lateness of the arrival of players which is stated as 9pm with prior notice. All players should make the effort to attend for a prompt start.
There being no other business the meeting closed at 20.40.
The next meeting to be held on 11 th February at Flint Pavilion.
