FLINTSHIRE BADMINTON LEAGUE
Minutes of the Flintshire Badminton League Meeting held 31 st March 2008 at Flint Pavilion
Members Present : Alan Bennett, Beth Marker, Audrey Harley, Dave Stretch, John Uren, David Hewitt, Gary Roberts, Cliff Price, Hazel McColl.

Matters arising from the last meeting
Insurance – John Steele or Mike Coppack to be invited to the AGM to talk on this.
Connahs Quay had paid their fine of £20 for late score sheets.
Dave Stretch reported nothing had been heard from Airbus regarding their rearrangement of fixture with Llanferres.
Presentation night – Hazel McColl to do the presentations. Gary made the suggestion in future, each club being allocated a certain amount of tickets and then to return the unused tickets.
Trophies – Alan to order all the trophies from Queensferry Sports (cup included), but the cost of trophies had increased.
Tournament – No restricted tournament this year due to lack of entries and as usual only certain clubs were supporting the tournament by entering.
Proposal for the forthcoming AGM – New rule of “with prior notice home and away players can only arrive 1 hour after the start time as stated in the hand book”
Scoring system is to stay the same next season.
AGM was arranged for 21 st April, 7.30 in the meeting room at Flint Pavilion.
