North Wales Satellite Play-offs
The following winning and losing Finalists go through to the Welsh Finals at Welshpool on 12 th April.
Callum Sant (Buckley) lost in a very close match 13-15, 13-15 in the U11s boys singles.
In the U13s boys singles Elliot Wheeler (Flint) just scraped home 22-20 in his Semi against Lloyd Martin (Mold) and beat Connor Hughes (Conwy) 15-13, 15-10 in the Final. In the boys doubles Elliot and Paul Hardman (Mold) topped their group with a better points for/against ratio with Daniel and Hugo Williams (Prestatyn) runners up.
In the girls singles Isabelle Cain (CQ) won the group winning all her matches beating runner up Sophie Wilson (Prestatyn) 21-13.
In the U15s Matthew Burrows won, beating Dan Hardman (Flint) 21-13 in the Semi and Adam Spencer (Mold) 15-11, 15-9 in the Final. In the doubles Adam Baines and Andrew Finnigan (Buckley) had thei best tournament result so far; they won a close Semi 22-20 and played very well before going down 134-15, 10-15 in an excellent Final to Matthew and Dan.
Jonathan Savory (Mold) did not have the U17s boys singles Final all his own way only beating fast improving Jordan Ellis (Mold) in three games, 15-11, 13-15, 15-2.

The last of this season's league matches were played at Mold Leisure Centre.

Mold A maintained their positon at top of the league with a 6-0 result over Flint A and a 5-1 win over Mold B. Connor Fenwick (Mold B) unexpectedly took 2 nd singles off Liam Moses (Mold A) 13-4 a good win for Connor!
Connahs Quay drop out of the 1 st division for the first time after losing 2-4 to Flint A and 1-5 to Mold B
Div 2
Buckley took a comfortable 6-0 win over Prestatyn A and went on to a 3-3 draw with Mold C only to lose on points 54-74. There were two very close games that could have gone either way Adam Baines (Buckley) beat Callum Colquhoun (Mold)13-12 and Andrew Finnegan (Buckley) also beat Ben Hughes (Mold) 13-12
Div 3
Prestatyn B had a 3-3 draw with Deeside A losing on points 64-66 then drew again in their second match with C.Quay B once more losing on points 61-66 A disappointing day for Prestatyn B although Robert Selwyn and Sophie Williams performed well winning all their matches.
Div 4
Denbigh were unable to field a team for this fixture leaving Llanferres B in top spot with 5-1 wins over C.Quay C and 4-2 over Buckley B. Close game between Deborah Lovell (Llan.) and Francesca Lloyd (C.Q.) 13-12
Div 5
Llanferres C drew against Flint B and Buckley C but lost both matches on points 57-62 and 60-64. Deeside B had a clear 6-0 win over Flint B and a 4-2 win over Buckley C giving them promotion to Div. 4
Shires League – Flintshire U13 v Lancashire 1 U13
A weakened Flints team never stopped trying but Lancs were too strong winning 20-0.

There were some notably good efforts. Paul Hardman (Mold) is improving rapidly and only lost his singles 19-21, 18-21 in a match that could have gone his way. Sophie Wilson (Prestatyn) just lost her first singles game 18-21. Lloyd Martin (Mold) and Dan Williams (Prestatyn) played very well in one in doubles match only just losing 21-23, 15-21. Isabelle Cain (CQ) and Ellen Liddle (Flint) lost both doubles matches but showed glimpses of very good form.
